This webinar on the transition from pediatric to adult care highlights perspectives from patients and adult care providers. Dr. Bradley A. Warady discusses how these perspectives can, in turn, be incorporated into strategies that will be reviewed and that are designed to optimize the process.

About our Guest Expert: Bradley A. Warady, M.D.
Dr. Warady is Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine; Director, Division of Nephrology and Director, Dialysis and Transplantation at Children’s Mercy Hospital. Dr. Warady serves as Co-Principal Investigator of the NIH-funded Chronic Kidney Disease in Children Study and the International Pediatric Dialysis Network (IPDN). He is Vice President, Board of Directors of the North American Pediatric Renal Trials and Collaborative Studies (NAPRTCS), Chair of the Pediatric Liaison Committee of the International Society for Peritoneal Dialysis (ISPD), National Board Member for the National Kidney Foundation, and Treasurer of the International Pediatric Nephrology Association. Dr. Warady served on the writing committee for the NKF-K/DOQI Clinical Practice Guidelines for Peritoneal Dialysis Adequacy, Bone Management and Nutrition. He has co-edited the books CAPD/CCPD in Children, Pediatric Dialysis, Pediatric Dialysis Case Studies and he has published more than 400 articles and book chapters.
