Join us in March as we celebrate Alport Awareness Month! This month-long campaign aims to spotlight our rare, genetic kidney disease during National Kidney Month as we join forces with other kidney-related patient groups across the United States. Awareness brings attention to the need for research, funding, and early and accurate diagnosis of Alport syndrome.

In 2019, patients participated in our “Facing Alport Syndrome” campaign by sharing black and white photos of themselves that were used in messaging to medical professionals to visually demonstrate that Alport syndrome effects all ages, genders and backgrounds. They also increased awareness by sharing ASF’s social media messaging and raising our social media presence by 550% during awareness month!
